Bounce Flash?

Bounce flash is a technique used to even up the foreground and background lighting when taking a photograph. It’s also used to create cool shadows and stuff like that.

I’ve got a quinceñera to shoot on Saturday and I guess I can count bounce flash out of the question. Look at the size of this church!
